Vintage French Pot Nantais

Add authentic French charm to your home with this beautiful vintage Pot Nantais stoneware jug which was made in the Loire Valley using local clay which was then salt glazed. Originally they were used for pouring wine. 

This pot has the wording Massot Chalopin on the base written by hand - we have no idea what this was for!

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. There is a chip on the edge of the rim but it isn't really noticeable. Please see photos for details.
