Each is illustrated with vintage-style bottles, glasses, fruit, vines and botanicals, surrounded by scenes of vineyards, cellars and copper stills. Together they create a nostalgic celebration of l'art de la distillation — the craftsmanship and traditions behind the spirits of France.

Artwork Inspiration

This print takes its inspiration from antique French drinks advertisements, distillery labels, vintage bottle designs and the beautifully illustrated promotional posters once found in cafés, bars and wine merchants across France. Rather than simply illustrating bottles, the artwork celebrates the places behind them — orchards, vineyards, Alpine landscapes, old cellars and traditional copper stills. The result is designed to feel like a piece of vintage French ephemera that has survived from another era, bringing a little of the atmosphere of an old French bar or épicerie into a modern home.
