Together they tell a story not simply about butter, but about terroir, craftsmanship and the French belief that even the simplest ingredients deserve to be enjoyed properly.

Artwork Inspiration

This artwork takes its inspiration from vintage French food advertisements, old épicerie packaging, agricultural illustrations and traditional culinary charts. The beautifully illustrated butter wrappers are particularly important to the character of the piece. They evoke a time when everyday foods were wrapped and labelled with regional identities rather than modern supermarket branding.

The ornate blue border and typography add another layer of French heritage, while the soft cream, blue, yellow and pastoral green palette makes this one of the lighter and easier-to-style pieces in the collection.
