The artwork celebrates ripe melons amongst curling vines, richly textured green leaves and delicate golden-yellow flowers. Whole fruits show the wonderfully intricate netted and striped skins associated with traditional melons, while the cut fruit reveals warm coral-orange flesh and an abundance of seeds.

The soft cream background and restrained palette allow the rich greens, warm melon tones and touches of golden yellow to stand out beautifully.
