A halved mandarin displays its radiating segments, a loose segment sits alongside it, and a partially peeled fruit captures one of the most recognisable characteristics of the mandarin — its wonderfully easy-to-remove skin.

The vivid orange fruit against the rich botanical foliage creates a warm, uplifting design, softened by the creamy background and traditional French typography.

Why We Love It

There is something immediately cheerful about this print. The intense orange fruit against those wonderfully dark green leaves creates one of the strongest colour contrasts in the collection.

We particularly love the peeled mandarin. It makes the fruit instantly recognisable and gives the illustration a tactile quality — you can almost imagine pulling away the fragrant peel and separating the individual segments.
