This striking S.R.D. stoneware flagon is a genuine piece of British military history. Produced by Moira Pottery Co. Ltd., this robust glazed jug features the classic two-tone finish with "S.R.D." boldly stamped across the shoulder - believed to stand for Service Rum Diluted or Supply Reserve Depot, commonly issued to troops during World War I and II.
With its traditional form, salt-glazed brown top, and cream lower body, it’s a highly collectible and decorative piece that brings character and historical intrigue to any shelf or hearth.
